A perennial herb, sometimes grown as an annual. Fruits in August. In culture since 1803. Unusual inflorescences that do not require additional drying will decorate any winter composition. Plant height up to 70 cm. Sowing: in March - April for seedlings. Seeds germinate in 7-14 days at t = +18°C. Can be sown in the ground in May.
